Having just purchased a Kuka robot with a KRC32 controller I'm looking to backup the system before I make a mistake and delete everything! ( Having just got to terms with an ABB system this seems like starting from scrath again.)
What is the simplist program to use bearing in mind I am usig Windows XP, and where can I obtain it.
Is there anything special about the RS232 lead?

You will need a small communication program.
I must have is somewhere but not here at the moment.
this program only works with windows 95 or 98 to communicate with the controller.
the progam does NOT work with later windows versions.

if i have the drawing of the communication link i will also send it

hope i helped a bit

cheers
