Hi

we got old robot IR161/60 and we want to play with it, but we do not have documentation - especially internal connection schematics to bridge external emergency circuit, motor on circuit etc.
Probably also machine data file will be necessary-batteries look drained.
Does anybody remember those old robots and can help?

Hi,   just joined the forum so only just seen your post!

these are VERY old robots!!!  they are based on the Siemens System 8, the old CNC system.
You will be very lucky to find information! I might be able to find some relationg to the internal connections as they are the same as the CNC version, the encoder / drive interfaces are similar too.

If you still have the robot, and have not used it, do you want ot sell it?   we repair all makes of robot, and I am looking for an old RCM as I have one in bits but need more!

regards  simon

We have just taken out our last IR161 robot, and we still have some manuals... Also, some parts are not scrapped yet, so if you need something, let me know... (be quick, all everything will be gone soon)
