Welcome.
There is no other special manuals for IBS for V version.
As in Kuka system is simplified but with IBS that is the same (I suppose) as in normal KRC version.
In Kuka You are using normal IBS CMD, normal that means that version is (I think) not dedicated specially for Volkswagen version. Manuals You can find on Phoenix Control web page. For older cards as on ISA slot I'm not sure but that is rare to find infos, but if You din in deeply into web You can find infos that You need.
Program is the same for Kuka cards or for controllers (S7 version). The key is to find correct modul or You can use automatic detection which modul is connected.
In newer cabinets as in KRC2 Kuka install cards based on PCI slot with (grateful for Kuka :))) adapter PS2 > RS.
So You don't need to as me  use PS-2 mouse cable and adopt it to RS ;))))))))))))) time ago.

As You know on IBS card You can run simple program simulating PLC. The programm You can create in FBD only one language accepted by IBS. For not huge loops this program can be useful. robot + gripper + convoyer etc.
There is some many ability to make low cost instalation without PLC cabinet.
But You have to know that for safety reasons electrical circuit or pneumatic logic is needed.
Many of standards as in Audi or others needs to have second than PLC or IBS programm system of security.
So for that reason there is a lot of pneumatic logic circuit or electrical double channel E-stop circuits.
Simply I'm forwarding You to Phoenix Control webpage for more infos. If You will be unable to find it give me info so I can send You official pdfs.
