how hard can it be?

Anyone got any info or experience of the flex picker. Have been asked to look at a job, but only seen one working, never played.

I worked with that robot a couple of times.

I have worked a little on ABB.
I have been told that it is based on a vision system.
Have you any manuals?
I have a basic Flexpicker manual, but it is maintenance really, which doesn't help me a lot

I have the product manual. It's a little bit old, but it can help you to understand it.
Vision is an option, as everything in ABB world. It's COGNEX based.
I used it in 2006, it was called PickMaster. Maybe the application is still alive.
I have the manual of that stuff, if you're intersted.
