I have Krc1 with software 2.2.8.
I don't have the name button to label the input and output signal.
There is an other mode? Like edit a configuration file?

Andicot,

I don't remember exactly where it is located. I think it is placed inside the Configuration menu on the top of the screen. Anyways, you need to look for something that is called "Longname". There you can name your I/Os.

SETUP->SERVICE->LONGTEXT, to be exact.  This will open a new window with buttons for importing and exporting Long Text (I/O names) to and from a plain text file.

I probably don't have to mention this, but the Long Text names are only for visual display on the I/O Monitor window.  It has nothing to do with the KRL names of I/O, which are set up in $CONFIG.DAT.
