If all else fails, read the manual.

Hello Jack,

Has it worked before or have you added a slave?

Hi Jim,

It's a new installation with LPDN DEVICENET.
My master (channel 1) work good.

I reverse the two channels for to test the channel two.
And the channel two, to master, works good. So, my two channels work fine.
But I do not succeeded to configure channel 1 or channel 2 to slave.
I have always an "DN CH 1: Slave error 26"  if I use channel 1 to SLAVE or I have an" DN CH 2: Slave error 26" if I use channel 2.

By, and thank
Jack

I always struggle with Kuka devnet too, I have one here right now that is running, files are attached.
I know that some manuals say that the DNSC_1CO.INI and DNSC_1SL.INI are where you do settings, I've never used them and still fudge my way through and get them working. I only use iosys.ini and devnet.ini to setup.
There are likely a couple of different ways of doing it that will work.
If you have RSNetworX for devnet and a 1769 PCMCIA card and cable it helps a lot.
There are people on the German forum that are really good at this, hopefully one of them comes reading.

I don't use the devicenet from the MFC card. Because this card can't to be setup to slave mode
and have juste one channel.
I use an LPDN DEVICENET CARD add in the PC inside the KRC.
This card have two DEVICENET channel; It use DNSC_1CO.INI, DNSC_1SL.INI, DNSC_2CO.INI and DNSC_2SL.INI.

All is working now.

Finally, with RSNetworX, I managed to configure my channel two in SLAVE mode.
I attach my new DNSC_2SL.INI made by RSNetworX.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Wow.  That's kind of overkill.  Usually a slave setup in an LPDN channel only requires maybe a half-dozen lines of code.  I wonder what (if anything) all that other stuff in the RSN-created file does?

"Usually a slave setup in an LPDN channel only requires maybe a half-dozen lines of code"...

I know that... See my first configurations files and give-me my error.
This is RSNetworX who made the DNSC_2SL.INI.
RSNetworX add all this new line. It is working now, it is my priority.
Try it and give me news...
