Dear all

I use a profibus slave IM182 card instead of profibus master/slave (that I before used only its slave port ) and now I can not start IM182 as profibus slave. How can I run IM182 in this controller?

Thanks a lot.
Alireza.

Your inquiry is garbled.  Please define your hardware configuration in detail.

Thanks a lot for your reply
Our plant profibus configuration is as follow:
- CPU 315-2dp as master
- Slaves consist of WAGO, ET200 and CP5614(in KUKA cabinet)
Enclosed you can find more information about our plant profibus configuration.

Hi,
The configuration is ok.
IM 182 is profibus interface module.

What is the exact problem you have?
CP 5614 is slave card
You have to check the settings in pfbms.ini, iosys.ini file. Also the
You need to use the correct .gsd file from the robot controller.
Can you upload the archive from the robot?

What is the nature of the problem?  Is the robot a Profibus Master or Slave?

As far as I know, the only way to have Profibus on a KRC controller is to install the CP5614 card (which has both Master and Slave ports).

Hi
CP5614 is master/slave card and IM182-1 is slave. As you know - according to attached file - all kuka robot in my profibus configuration are slave and CP5614 is used at all of them as slave.
Now, one of CP5614 is damaged and I have to use IM182-1 instead of CP5614. I don't have IM182 GSD file to reconfigure hardware configuration, and I don't know the procedure of IM182 installation on robot.
Regards.
Alireza.
Enclosed you can find archive of robot after installarion of IM182.

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot use any card in the KRC2 other than the CP5614.  It may be possible to use an IM182 in a KRC2 controller, but only KUKA service could tell you for certain.  I suspect it is unlikely.  A Profibus card plugged into the motherboard of the KRC unit must have a proper VxWorks driver that works with the KSS operating system.
