I have relased a new version of openshowvar (0.13.0)!

now is possible a manual insert of robot ip.

Please give me tips on improving openshowvar software. I accept requests for new functions to implement.

Hello!

First of all, my compliment for your great work! You're done a phantastic job with this application.

What i would love to see is 2 things:

1. The release of a DLL to read/write variables (No .NET if possible, the more "plain" the better)

2. A detailed publication on the TCP-Communication to the Client-App that's running on the KRC.
Since the KRC's communication partner ist not always a PC, but in many cases a PLC, it would
be phantastic to be able to communicate with a PLC that is capable of sending/receiving TCP
strings with a KRC controller. Most modern PLC's (e.g. Beckhoff) support TCP-Communication.
The standard fieldbus communication is fine for realtime i/o data exchange, but for larger data
amounts or HMI data, being able to access KRL variables directly with the PLC would be great.

I'd be more than happy to assist with some beta-testing, as i have access to KRC-controllers as
well as PLC's.

Regards, Peter

Has anyone tested to see if this works on a KRC4?
