Hello, I have an old KRC1 controller, that have been unpowered for a long time. When we start upp the robot and try to change user to expert, the login dialog never shows, instead I get an error saying "Key file not found". the error number is 0, so its hard to find this in the manuals.

Should be on the drive

Stop the KRC in windows
Fit a keyboard
Power on at the first Windows 95 splash screen press and hold shift,This will stop it in windows

In windows explorer go to the d drive and then the folder KRc1cd Select setup.exe

Hallo Steffo_j,

are you sure to have a kr c1? To me it sounds like having a vkr C1 (volkswagen). In this version You must have a keyfile (normally on cd) in order to switch to expert mode. By pressing the expert button You will not see a dialog box coming up.

Regards

Yes thats what you need with Volkswagen standard controllers, this CD is normally coming along with the robot.
This CD contains key files.
Latest versions need USB disk instead of floppy.
