Hi All
I wonder if someone can help. I have a ZX200S robot with An ARM ID Board fitted. The Arm ID Box on the robot has 1GV board and 1JD board to connect to IO. The 1JD card has connectors that go to a break out box on robot. Wires are numbered WX33-WX48 and OX33-OX40. There are also wires marked 24v and 0v, but when i meter these there is no 24v present. DO i supply this 24 externally or should it come from the 1JD board. Basically i tried switching an input by linking 0v to input wx33, but input doesnt respond on pendant.
AUX Function 0607 shows top output 33, 8 signals, and  top input 1033, 24 signals so i assume configuration is ok.
The robot was removed from an old line and as far as i know this was working, so i expect all dip switches etc are correct but will check.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've actually got the external i/o instruction manual and a few diagrams for the arm i/o junction box, I'll post them when I get a chance.

From what I've seen, the arm junction box take power from the main cabinet. The wiring for it is explained in the manual.

Thanks for the reply James
Any info you can provide would be appreciated. We dont seem to have 24vDC at the connection box and no drawings that show where the 24 should come from. We have an external IO manual, and also the ARM ID option manual, but still cannot find details.
We're stuck
Thanks for your time
Let me know if you need an email address or any details
Thanks

I FOUND IT. On The  1KP Board There are 2 links between connector X9 pins 9-10 and 11-12. Links are removed if external supply required of 24 to robot arm, or linked out (factory setting) if internal 24v used. We had  no links. Put them in and all good.

Yep, that's them. I was going to post a few pics of them, but it seems that you've got it sorted.
