I'm a new guy with a UX150 AD controller setup.  With the help from old posts I successfully got it moving.  I was having trouble with JT2 tripping overcurrent.  I thought is was trying to drive the arm past into hard stop.  I manual released brake and lifted arm.  Still trips. I removed the servo motor and it will run for a short time before it jerks and trips.  It seems to like fast jogs better than slow moves.  After reinstalling the motor into the gearbox I am now have a problem when the cotrolled boots I get error -1411 Servo Block A error code c , d or ff98. When I go into Aux 140 or Aux 41 JT1-3 read 0. If I unplug encoders from 1ge board controller boots and the encoder values in Aux 140 or Aux 41 look more correct (268437594....). Not really sure what else to try.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks Tom

If you pull the metal door off of the back of the door you will see the 2servo blocks. It ashould be labled which goes to what motor. You can try changing the DD board (small board) that is attached to see if the problem moves. Also attached at th bottom of one of the servo blocks is the connection for the Regenitive Resitor. Check to see if you have resistance or not? If you have lost the regenitive resistor, If you get a big spike movement on JT2, it will also cause it to error out like you mentioned.
Best of luck

Roboperson, thank you for the advice.  I had that cover off and checked all the connections.  I reseated the main controller boards (multiple times)  and finally tried initializing the whole controller.  That still didn't seem to do much.  I reloaded with the Ford disk and at some point it has started working again.  I am not exactly sure why, but I am not complaining.  The next task i have is to get the I/O working.  When I first powered the controller on there were some lights on the I/O junction blocks. After jumpering the J44 connector at some point I lost my I/O power, I was so happy to get the robot moving I really wasn't checking the I/O lights.  Not sure if the I/O power goes through the J44 wires or not.  My controller is also missing some switches in the front panel and has unconnected wires.  I have been trying to get a controller schematic from Kawasaki with little luck.  Thanks again for the advice to get me moving again.
