Hello

I found these boards while looking for instructions for KCWINTCP / AS Language, and have now downloaded the AS reference manual from here,

While i am reading my way through that i am hoping some one can speed things up for me,

Currently KCWINTCP is opened manually, AS is typed to log in, then save and a file name, KCWIN then does its stuff saving the file to the local PC,

How do i set this up so i can automate it? i want to schedule a task in windows to run KCWIN and do all this with no user input, is this possible? if not what is the best i can hope for?

Thanks

Hi KDrayton,

I think it's not possible. But anyway, It should take you about 20 sec, so why does it bother you so much?

It is not bothering me, but what is the point in walking across site and doing this manually, and maybe even forgetting / not finding the time to do it if it can be set up to run automatically.

If it cant be done it cant be done and the manually method will have to be done.

Use KCWIN TCPIP and do it across ethernet. I load programs into robots across the country all the time.
