Hello

I use a OP7000 robot with his controller ( 30C65F-A005 )
After 3 years off we switched on the robot & controller but no movement.
So the battery were remplaced same problem.
We are able to read the position value also when we move manually but  the servo are off.
After contacting Kawa in Germany with the error message it seems to be the CPU but there is a exclusivity on this robot by the supplier of the tool and we prefer to not to contact it.

The controller was sent to a electronics repair center but all seems OK.
I suspect a interlock ( door or out of position ) or firmware lost during the 3 years off

My questions are :
- does somebody get this problem ?
- how to check the controller firmware or/& to load it ?
- some drawings for the controller ?

Thanks by advance

When you lose the batteries like you stated over such a long period of time, you lose the volatile information. I am surprised you were able to get to the user interface without initializing. Normally, when this happens you have to initialize to get past the initial boot (Kawasaki) screen.
I would bet that if you looked at the robot type in the AUX functions it is an odd default robot type. You probably have lost the robot data, aux data, system, etc. I would bet if you looked at the robot type in the AUX funtions it is an odd default robot type. You need to either load a known all data save from that robot, or you need to get the data sheet that comes with the controller and enter in the information manually. If neither of these is an option you may need to contact Kawasaki and get a data sheet specific to your robot and controller type or have a service call and have them come take care of it.
Best of Luck

Is that a Kawasaki robot?  Older than dirt or is it a Semi Conductor Model?  If so, you need to contact the San Jose Office for Kawasaki USA, not Germany.  It should be listed on Kawasakirobotics.com web site.
