Hello all, I am new to this forum and am looking for help on a older Kawasaki AD Controller with a Miller Auto Vision welder. I need help with an error code on the welder display that says "Stop Weld Cycle Error". I looked up the explanation of this code on the Miller web site and it says the robot has not sent a command to the welder to stop the weld. I have no idea what this means. I am new to this controller and robots in general. I was having fair luck getting this robot working until this happened.
Can anyone help me with this.
Anyone that can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I think you should first check the interlock connections between welder and robot and sure that everything is ok.

Thanks for responding. Are you referring to the wiring plugs and checking the connections for making contact? It was working just fine and then it came up with this error code. It sounds like a signal switch is sending a 'off' message to the welder continously and won't let it start welding. Are you familiar with the AD Controller that is used on this Kawasaki Robot?
