Depending on what type of welding you are planning to do....For starters you have to upgrade AS and Servo software (you can see current software versions if you go to auxiliary function 90 or,  in keybord screen type: id then press enter)

But how to upgrade it? I've got D40 controller and can't find auxiliary function 90! When I activate this menu using teach pendant I just see 8 functions.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

And how to make it happen? Do I need to contact guys from Kawasaki or it might be done myself? As I understand I can't use robot for welding applications without having software updated?
