I was just wondering how many Auxillary levels there are in a kawasaki robot. I see posts about questions on  the 4th level.  When I went to kawasaki training in detroit they only showed us one password to be able to access extra auxillary maintenance functions. I am not looking for the passes but I am just curious what are the levels and what type of functions can you access from them?

I believe there are only 4 levels, and if I am not mistaken 4 passwords to access each level, with each of the higher levels being able to access the lower levels, or you could just back door it and get at the functions in that manner.

I can get to level 3 aux level, but I am unable to go to level 4.  You mind sharing this knowledge with me?

if I remember correctly....the level 4 password is different on different controllers in the same series
you would have 2 D+ controllers and the level 4 password would be different on both.......

There are 4 levels. Level 3 is the max any maintenance or engineering  personal will need to access. Level 4 contains options, option sets, and application information. Basically any purchased option set up when the controller is originally purchased.  Level 4 is protected by a password mathmatically generated by software version. Each version of software generates a different level 4 password that Kawasaki carefully protects and monitors by the software engineers. If any changes are determined to need to be changed in level 4, you will need Kawasaki Customer Support.

Menu->Aux Function-> and there is a place where we put 899 (nr of  menu). And there you need to use password.

I have done everything you wrote, I have turn on the robot, going to the aux menu, and then put into the functions number "899"  but it shows in the display "undefined function. Input a function code again", by the way, it is an AD controlller.

Go to the AUX level screen go to the last AUX screen that you can access.
type in 199 at the bottom where you type in which AUX function you want to access.
Press enter. This will bring up a screen where you need to select ENABLE then the password 9894 or 9498 I forget which is correct then enter again. Exit out of function 199 and then select next screen again, this will give you access to the 900 series functions which are for maintenance use and dedicating signals and such.

Thanks

@ user Antxoka
If you give us a valid reason for taking down Kawasaki passwords then we will.
Simply reporting a post and asking that it be removed without giving any reason is not enough, especially when the post has already been up for nearly 2 months.

This 9894 password is a  password to get to level 3.......
.....it is like 99999999 for motoman.....getting into management.....not system and options

if it was a means to get into level 4 then it might be cause to remove
