At uni I designed a robot hand using air muscles. but the best I've seen are the Shadow hand and the Festo airic

No prob  icon_smile, I spent 2yrs at uni after 5 at college researching this kind of stuff. I'm a robotics design engineer in a aerospace/automotive tooling company and have currently got myself stuck on a large aerospace R&D project. Anyway to cut a long story short other than designing robot cells and concepting I've got plenty of time on my hands.
