Hi, I am currently stuck with a robot that gets input from a joystick. The joystick is connected to the laptop, which is connected to the robot via USB.

How am i able to intercept the joystick so as i can create a C++ code to move the robot rather than using the joystick?( e.g by pushing the joystick upwards gives a certain reading. Instead of using joystick, i will manually input that reading which is like a "cheat" to the robot that i am using joystick"

Thanks

I think it really depend on the robot you have. What kind of robot are you using (brand, type, model, etc).

Thanks for the reply, well I am using the SEGWAY RMP200. The RMP200 comes with a .exe file which enable me to control using joystick, but i am trying to make it move a fixed path without using joystick.

Sorry, I really don't know much about it, but I saw that there is a service written for Microsoft Robotics Studio. Maybe that could be a good start for you.
