Ciao  to everyone ,
I'm a  paint  department  manager and I have two
plants , one with olds ABB TR-510 and the other
with Kobelco-Kawasaki KRE 440 .
To make the programs I have two off-line robots
with two look-like conveyors . but when I load the news in the
paint shops there are always difeerences in the positions .
So I spend a lot  of time to align all the trajectories .
Does enyone knows some tool or trick for me ?
Excuse my  English
Ciao

Hello rossomc,

Is there is a common co-ordinate, or direction you need to move the robot to make the positions correct?

For example, the target distance may be out and you always need to touch up using Z Tool or similar.

Or perhaps the part detect values are different (you mention conveyors) between teaching and real cells, and X or Y may need adjustment.

I'm not familiar with the robots in question, just an observation.

Hallo Loke ,
the off line programs must be corrected , point by point ,
because there is a little difference of  the peaces position
between in and off line robots .
The differences are in all directions x,y,z .
There is the possibility to correct the programs in
other way , not step by step ?
Ciao

rossomc,

It sounds like there is no common co-ordinate/s to adjust that would make all positions correct. Otherwise a "program adjust" function would have been suggested.

After confirming robot, tool and cell settings between off-line and real zones are identical, perhaps consider breaking your questions to be ABB and Kawasaki specific, and repost individually in the appropriate boards.

Sorry couldn't be of more help.

There will always be the need for small touchups.

Your off line robots are of the perfect type. No wear, no manufacturing errors and the same goes for the rest. There is no gravity etc. In reality .........................!

If you have an absolute accuracy robot you might come close.

Did you calibrate your cells, that is essential??
