Hi,
        When I want to have a 0 degree master, command lines are as follows;

o        KCL>UTIL

o        UTIL>MASTER

o        ARE YOU SURE?

o        Y

o        “UOP HAS MOTION CONTROL"

When I have the remote off, the message is;

o        "SOP HAS MOTION CONTROL"

What should I do to complete the master?

Emergency condition is Ok, Fens condition is Ok. Are there any other conditions?

  pleace
Best regards

Hello Emos,

I've hat quite a lot of problems mastering the old robot.
I had problems with the remote key, this should be on and you can check it from the parameter $REMOTE.

COMMANDS TO MASTER

1. First all errors have to be resolved and reset
2. Switch the remote key ON
3. Then you have to set the Karel Keyboard/CRT be the motion master

KCL>   SET PARAMETER REMOTE KB

After this you can master as you already tried.

KCL>   UTIL
UTIL>  MASTER
Are You sure? Y/N => Y
Mastering in zero degree? Y/N => Y     (0 degrees)
Mastering in progress...
UTIL>          (Roboter is mastered)
UTIL>      [ENTER]
KCL>
KCL>   CALIBRATE   (Aktivate new Masterdate)
KCL>   WHERE       (Values actual robotposition)

Check robot position (all Achses) and remaster if big errors occur
After this:
KCL>   SSAVE

Good luck,

Freddy

Monsterke, if the robot loose the enc count it means the J3 encoder power is not backuped. check the cabled or replace the encoder (motor)

If you have a spare robot and the problem in not in the arm, try to replace pcbs, like axis control, then rack, then cpu, or the rcc.

bye
