Does anybody know how to map the SO for the operatot panel Faut LED to a DO.  The plant I am in wants to turn a horn on everytime the robot is faulted.  PMC is not installed on the robots.

Any help is appreciated.

I would suggest using the BG Logic under Menu -> Setup. First, do a motionless program with only one line which changes a DO based on your SO (I would prefer the UO Fault instead):
IF (UO[6: Fault]), DO[1]=(ON)

Then, activate that program in the BG Logic by selecting your program and hitting run. I think it will do what you want.

Thank you for the reply i will see if it works.  I did not think of trying that because i figured if the robot was faulted the BG logic would not run therefor the DO would never be set.

Yes, I understand your point. I tried it and the BG Logic is still running even when the Fault LED is on. Let me know if it's working. Good luck.
