Hi,

I need some help on how to start up following cell:

- FANUC ArcMate 100iC with Devicenet board

- LINCOLN ELECTRIC POWER WAVE F355i + COMMUNICATION (Devicenet/Ethernet) INTERFACE K2436-1

I was told that robot should communicate with welder via ArcLink. How does it work in hardware - I should connect is entirely as normal Devicenet or what?

On the communication interface from Lincoln there are following ports available:

- Ethernet (only diagnostics probably)
- DeviceNet
- ArcLink Out

I'm probably missing some documentation and start gettin'  aufsmaul

Cheers

... thanks, fortunately I already overcome my initial problems with Fanuc and ArcLink. The problem was that because lack of documentation I misses some details. Now it works and welds  All I needed was proper software for Fanuc, dip switch setting and external 24V for 'ArcLink' cable... in the end it was almost plug&play  aufsmaul
