When I try to copy *.VR or DIOCFGSV.IO file from actual robot  to Roboguide it comes up with File Sequence Error. Has anyone experienced this or able to help me. I remember with WinOLPC had problems with Framevar file then had move that to a different folder. I am using Roboguide Ver 6.40. Any help would be kindly appreciated.

If all else fails, read the manual.

Are you clicking on "Variables -> Import from Robot" at the bottom of the cell browser?

Thansk Jim for the response. My PC is not connected to the robot. I am trying to copy IO configuration and data registers from a back up (from an actual robot on a previous project) to the roboguide. First I copied the files into the MC folder in robguide then tried to load from File menu.  By the way how do u attach a jpeg file to the post. Thanks

Does the version of the virtual robot match the real robot?  They have to match or you will get file sequence errors.  Usually this occurs when going backwards in version.  That is, loading a file from a later version on to an earlier version.
