hi

i assume you're looking for this one:

$TX.$BLNK_ENABLE, when it's set to TRUE then it will go blank after $TX.$BLNK_TIMER minutes.
Pressing any key will redisplay the screen.

it only works once you're in Auto mode

enjoy

Fanucboy:

I tried and didn't work, which is a shame because  I was trying to scare my partner.
Is there anything else beside those two $tx vars ?

Somar I can understand your embarassment  icon_smile

In my opinion this feature should work in either modes and not be restricted only to Automode.

By the way is this variable for the I-pendant or the older monochrome ones?

It's a i-pendant, maybe is an older model because it's a brand new robot, that was sitting on storage.

I get two new ones today from Fanuc and I'll will try

I have now seen about 4 different generations of the i-Pendant.  the earliest generation only had an on/off backlight.  the newer models all support a full bright/half bright/off control.  I have no clue if different versions of software will effect the backlight or not.
