Is there a way to tie the TP and the SOP Emergency stop butoons to separate outputs? I know there is one for emergency stop, but this could be anything. I want a more specific way to isolate each one.

Thanks,
Corey

I got it, sort of. I just mapped the Status bits to digital outputs.

Depending on your controller, please check under I/O if you have the item "interconnect".
If so, select INTERCONNECT

Then check by F[3] = SELECT if you have the item ES -> DO
If you do (you are lucky and), you can connect many safety-status-signals to digital outputs

That's what I did. However, it still only gives me 1 e-stop.
I would like to separate the cabinet e-stop from the teach pendant e-stop.

No biggie though, I guess 1 is still better then none.

OK.
But then you should have 3 different E-stop signals:
EMGTP = Emergencystop Teach pendant
EMGOP = Emergencystop SOP
EMGEX = Emergencystop external
These signals should be used for signalling only!

For the hardware of the emergencystop, there is usually only 1 circuit.
With the recent controllers, you have the possibility to use the ES-buttons for external use. Then feedback the ES-signal to the robot.

What type of controller and SW do you use?
This settings of signals was already there in RJ-2
