I am trying to reset the srvo-037 IMSTP error by using the following method..only when I go to system type no config is listed...HeELP!!!!

please check your setting of UOP enable.
you can check it in Menu/System -> F1 config, item 7, Enable User Inputs, please set it to False.

depends on what controller you have.

Something newer like RJ3 and up its MENUS/0/SYSTEM    F1 TYPE / CONFIG / ENABLE UOPS = FALSE

OR on older versions

MENUS/0/SYSTEM  F1 TYPE select variables       $OP_WORK ------press enter ---- $OP_WORK.UOP_DISABLE = TRUE

this will turn off IMSTP - SFSPD - HOLD

Another option to check if your IOs are wiredup is to ensure that the IMSTP input is always high... In this condition your alarm will be removed.

What these guys haven't told you is that disabling UOPs will probably clear the alarm but you obviously won't be able to run the robot in auto with the UOPs turned off... If you're trying to run the robot on the pendant it might help... But if you need to run in auto you need to resolve the problem with the IMSTP input (whicih must be high for the robot to work)....

Try to disconnect all connectors from the PCB and check the fuse inside
