Hi!

Is there a way to (automatically) run a TP program which has no motion but only changes system variables
each time when the controller is turned on? The controller is R30iA and R30iA MATE.

Thanks in advance!

Yes there is  icon_smile

Just create that program and enter the name in the config.
Normally you'll find this under the SYSTEM menu, Type [F1] -> Config

You can create a program for either robot hot start and robot cold start

If your robot does NOT have the submenu "config" under the system menu, you have to enter that program-name directly into the system variables:
for example:
$PWR_NORMAL    'POWERUP1' = program POWERUP1 to execute when cold start
$PWR_SEMI      'POWERUP2' = program POWERUP2 to execute when hot start
