There are robot Fanuc model S-420S with controller model RJ. After connect wiring, it can not boot robot functions and the pendant show "Please form floppy disk core 6" (this robot use data link model rs-232c)

I have not any floppy disk, what should be the primary countermeasure, please advise.

For more information, they are used robot and were brought in lot. When they came somebody exchange their parts so program lost.

Hello,

This is a good device to replace the old floppy drives on Robot controllers. Then you can use SD memories !
Is tested on ABB M2000 and Kuka KRC1 robot controllers.

It sounds like either an INIT start has been performed on this robot, or only a partial software load has been performed.

You will likely need to acquire core software, and finish loading software.

good luck
