Hey guys, I have an RJ3 controller with a SRVO 242 Chain 1 EXEMG abnormal fault and SRVO 230 Chain 1 +24V fault that wont clear. I have all of the safeties jumped out and it still won't move. I found a bad 1.0A fuse on the ESTOP PCB and replaced it but I think I have a mis-synchro on one of my 2 channel contacts (relays on redundant safety) because I see relay KA18 not energizing, but Im not quite sure of where to go from here... does anybody have a print or know what pulls that relay in? As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you reset channel under alarms menu?

Yep, I've reset channel under the alarms menu and it goes away for a second then comes right back. I've also tried setting it to true under the config menu.  I'm beginning to wonder if the board got fried when the safeties got pulled out. The fuse was blown.

It sounds like you might have blown a trace/diode on the op board when you popped the fuse.  There are 2 LED's (SVONA & SVONB) that will be both on when both channels are made.  On an RJ3RIA, KA18 is connected to the 0V chain of the External Estop (TBOP4-4 & TBPO4-3) however, KA18 is only part of the EMGout chain.  The one that is also connected to this chain and would cause this problem is KA16 (also connected to TBOP4-4 & TBOP4-3). This relay would cause SVONB to be off.

I would recommend trying a replacement PCB if possible, but if not I hope this helps

That sounds like the problem because SVONB like you said is not coming on... I called fanuc and we're going to get them to repair the board. But I looked and couldn't find KA16. KA17 is right beside KA18, is that the one you are referring to or is it on a different board?

Everything I referenced is on the Op panel board.  A few of the relays may be the small omron units though.
