Is there a variable to adjust the "master" speed? example... If you want to slow down or speed up the robot without changing the speed from 100%. More or less change what the value of 100% is.

I ask this because we have 2 identical robots running the same application, with same feed rates and same program, but the newer robot seems to move at twice the speed. where as I have the a linear motion with a feed rate of 500 mm sec, it seems to be closer to 1000mm sec.

Take a look at $MCR_GRP[1].$prgoverride.  There should be a 100 in there. It is a global speed multiplier that is applied after the gen override is applied.

equation is:

Move Speed * Gen Override * prgoverride

Reading you post "but the newer robot seems to move", I have questions
Are they the same controller , same software version ? Wondering if one processor is slower than the other even that 500mm sec is 500mm sec regardless of the robots BUT if you have for example FINE points, maybe the older robot takes a little bit more time to process
