While a program is running you can choose with F2 for Look or Monitor mode.
Is it possible to lock this with a variable so that it is always in Look or Monitor mode?

Because in monitor mode the display always jumps to the program display.

Do you want to keep operators from seeing the code? Because if that's the ultimate goal here, you can do that easily with either password levels or setting up Quick HMI menus and disabling the SELECT and EDIT keys.

No I want to be able to scroll trough the I/O menu's while a program is running. But the cursor keeps on going to the program screen which is pretty

So I want to set it permanent in Look mode.

I'm using split screen.
So the left sceen is the program and in the right screen I have an I/O screen.
When the program is running my cursor always jumps to the left screen, so I can't scroll through my I/O.
If I change Monitor mode to Look mode with F2. It is possible. But when my program starts again or an other program starts running. It automaticly changes back to Monitor mode.
So I'm looking for a variable to set the mode standard to Look mode.

Is not enough just to switch the left screen from edit to something else?

there must be a variable because i dont have this problem with any of mine. I have the program running on the left screen and i/o on the right. when you press cycle start the screen automatically jumps to the left screen but after it starts you can go to the right and stay there.

if nothing else you can put your program on right screen and i/o's on left screen and that should work

If you aren't following the program as it's running, what's the point of even having the edit screen open in one of the windows?
