I`m new to robots, I bought 2 fanuc arcmate 100i with lincoln powerwave 450.

The robot is moving and i did make a small program. The problem is that when i try to put the wire trought the gun, i press the wire feed key on the pendant ... and nothing happens, no error, no moving, is there a variable that im missing Huh?

try this

Inch forward WO [4] The inch forward signal is used on the teach pendant to direct wire feed.
Inch backward WO [5] The inch backward signal is used on the teach pendant to direct wire rewind.
Setting the arc welding equipment
Step 1 Press the MENUS key. The screen menu is displayed.
2 Select 6 (SETUP).
3 Press F1 (TYPE). The screen change menu is displayed.
4 Select Weld Equip.
Arc welding equipment screen
SETUP Weld Equip G1 JOINT 10 %
1/12
Welder:
Process: MIG
Feeder: ****************
1 Wire feed speed units: cm/min
2 WIRE+ WIRE- speed: 50 cm/min
3 Feed forward/backward: enabled
4 Wire stick reset: ENABLED
5 Wire stick reset tries: 3
Timing:
6 Arc start error time: 2.00 sec
7 Arc detect time: .06 sec
8 Arc loss error time: 1.00 sec
9 Gas detect time: .05 sec
10 Gas purge time: .35 sec
11 Gas preflow time: .30 sec
12 Gas postflow time: .30 sec
[ TYPE ] HELP
5 To specify each item, place the cursor in the corresponding field, and:
a Press F4 (CHOICE), to select the corresponding menu.
b Enter the value or select the function key menu.
If it is necessary to turn the power off and on again after the item is specified, a prompt will appear at
the bottom of the screen.

I tried wht you said and everything is in place... nothing happens when i press wire+ or wire - keys in the tech pendant.

I place a arc start instruction on the program but i get ARC-033 override must be 100% to weld.

any suggenstions ??

Either turn your speed up to 100% manually, or put an override command at the top of the program making it 100%...  make sure the "weld enable" is on...

Don't want to state the obvious, but wire feed is a two button process.  You need to press and hold shift before pressing the wire feed button.

hello rodriguezjorge,
                        In power wave 450 welding machine there is a function called procedure 1 to 8 which sets the memory for lincoln machine based on the type of wire, wire feed speed etc. When ever a particular procedure is selected a green led glows next to the selected memory. Check if the procedure is selected correctly.
