Hi,

I'am looking for a comparison between fanuc and epson 6-axis robots.
I know pretty much about Epson robots, but I don't have any experience with Fanuc robots.

Can you guys tell me what are the benefits of working with Fanuc? Are they more or less accurate then Epson? What about pricing and speed?

Thanks in advance,

Gieljan

Gieljan:
Welcome to the Robot Forum.

I do not have any experience with Epson but having worked with FANUCs I could list down the Pros of using a Yellow robot:

- very Reliable controller software (does not hang up every so often)
- easy to setup
- programmer friendly.
- a very prominent robot (one of the top 4 brands) therfore quick spares and service availability is assured

I am only hoping that you are not in the US if you are talking about Used FANUC robot...

In any case the best way to compare would be conclude on the specifications - payload, reach etc and compare the 2 models

my only experience with Epsons are with the SCARA models because we use fanuc for six axis. If the six axis epsons are anything like the SCARAs, go with FANUC. easier to program and more reliable.

Fanuc build real robots. There are lots of toy robots out there, IMHO.

Thanks for your answers!

I think we'll have to work with a 6-axis fanuc robot because Epson doesn't has any robots with the arm length we need... Hope this is the right choise...

Best Regards,
