Dear All ,

           we have fanuc arcmate 100i Robot with RJ2 Controller. sometimes i am facing weld enable function problem. when i am puting robot in auto cycle weld enable is not getting on. i want to put weld enable intruction in the program. but i dont know how to put it. can somebody help me .

Is your robot being controlled by a PLC?  If so make sure the weld input for arc enable configured to use whatever the PLC uses to turn on weld enable.  Menus-->I/O-->Type (F1)-->Weld Inputs.  Scroll down to "Arc Enable" and you may have to hit F5 to next page to more options where you'll see Config.

Also, don't you have to be at 100% in order for it to weld? I am pretty sure on the Rj3ib's you need to. Don't remember on the Rj2's

Yes, speed must be set at 100% for welding on the RJ2 as well.  As far as programming is concerned, have you written welding instructions into your program (Arc start/Arc end) and the system isn't welding, or is your question concerning how to write welding instructions into a program?  Please clarify and I'm sure you'll get more responses.
