Where are you seeing this error message?

Can you do a screenshot?

you have probably tried this already but in case you have not.

open a command prompt and type robcad in it and hit return.

this will startup robcad and leave the cmd prompt still open when robcad crashes (just in case there is more to the message).

Also is this error message before or after:

Loading module /C=/Robcad/bin/workcell
Opening File /C=/Robcad/dat/cellscanner
Loading module /C=/Robcad/bin/tbx_manager
Reading file /C=/Robcad/dat/d_errors/modules/tbx_manager.cnf
etc..

From the actual message i think its a problem with Hummingbird / Exceed.

How did you install robcad and exceed?
What version of robcad are you running and which version of Exceed.
What is the windows version you are running it on?
What graphics card have you got?

Hi

Are you sure that you have installed both Exceed and Exceed3D?

method a) install RobCAD straight from the CD it will install MKS Exceed and Exceed 3D automatically.

method b) install MKS and Exceed and then RobCAD it willinstall Exceed 3D automatically.

I always use method b as for some reason the default installation point for MKS is on the D drive, so i have to manually install it and choose the C drive (which is where i install software) and manually install Exceed so its available for everyone to use.

Actually Bala are you trying to run RobCAD on a user account with Admin rights or Limited rights?
If you are trying to run RobCAD on an account with Limited rights and you get the error, try running RobCAD on an account with Admin rights, if robcad runs, then i think the problem is with the Exceed / Hummingbird installation.

You would need to uninstall RobCAD, MKS, and Exceed and Exceed 3D and then install them again in the following order.

MKS  (Make sure it installs to the C drive)
Exceed (Make sure you choose "Personal Installation" and "Available to every user" this might be called something slightly different but it will be clear as the other choice is something like "This user only")
RobCAD
