No it doesnt matter tp help, (which unfortunately i cant do, all our customers use 7.5.1 and hence so do we), i just didnt know any car companies had made the switch to version 8.

I will keep an eye out for a v8 manual for you though, from what i can remember & reading the v8 release notes, i dont think there was supposed to be alot of difference, a few bug fixes and some extra buttons on the motion thing which you should be able to spot pretty easily.

If i might ask which continent / country are you and your customer on / in?

Hi,

We are using V8.0 and I have a copy of the release notes from Siemens that was sent out with the software.

Can email you a copy if you want ?

As for changes from V7.5.1 apart from the usual "bug fixes" there are updates to SOP, Path editor, Tree viewer.
The best enhancment I have found on a day to day basis is the renaming in path editor, it now remembers the location
name and allows you to edit rather than just calling the location a generic "lo" number.
works a treat when mirroring a path as you can keep location names and add a prefix or suffix to the mirrored path then edit as required afterwards.
