I'm Lucky that I work in aerospace as its stable  icon_smile in the current financial crisis but getting Delmia v5 means I'll probably get asked to simulate the automation for a whole factory

Slight add-on to this discussion, we've had the Delmia a couple of months and its fantastic for the work we do, In fact we looking at adding the automation package.

We've seen other set ups with plc's including omron, siemens, etc. The idea being that we can simulate the whole robot cell (nice) and maybe download the lot straight into the control system/robot.

anybody done this? (suspect though its a fairly new thing)

Downloads have come a long way. At GM they do this for all the robots and the programmer just does a path touchup, another job eliminated.

Are you talking about the documentation? If that so, you should consider asking your Delmia support center.
