Hello, I have my first 4  Comau starting to operate in this year: Smart NM 45- 2.0. Right now we have just a few parts being precessed and up to now I had to turn-set the robots few times. It is astonishing! in the manual I found the text that it can easly happen that " the when switched on again, the Control Unit has lost this value."  Do you have any tips to prevent it?
I heard that the robots have to be swith off carefully but in my opinion it is extremly strange for eqipment like robots to lose their mind.. and it's just avoiding the problem not solving it..

Check that the battery is OK. If you are having to turn set after switching off, it could mean that the battery is not maintaining the power to the resolver whilst off

thanks for the replay - I have done it in a first place and just ordered spare parts. Batteries are ok in my robots - two of them are brand new. Nevertheless I cannot find in detail what exactly those 'larger' batteries [Battery (C4G-BAT) Nr ref. SAFT  2214511 -01  (16,8V  1,3Ah)]  are responsable for :  because for NVRAM there are other batteries [m4t32 br12sh6]. I have to add that now  there are no red diods on conected with batteries (for a while I have the diod for NVRAM on in one robot but it is off now. I will change it anyway when I have new one)...
