I have 2 cobra s600 robots doing some label application. However, after a power down / up it is hit and miss whether they will start. Normally have to go into adept software, stop all tasks and play the autostart task, which in turn starts all normally. Anyone encountered this issue before?

Do you load files from a external computer via NFS at startup? (check in auto.v2 where files are loaded). If you do, do you mount the NFS drives in the system parameters? (use config_c to check). It is a common problem that the system does not mount drives if the computer is not ready. It is better to do a script in auto.v2 that pings the computer and mount the NFS-drives when the external computer is up. Even if you mount i auto.v2 it will not work if the computer is not ready. Thats why you should ping the computer.

Usualy mounting disks via system setup works fine until the external computer does some upgrade and boots a little bit slower.

Other reasons for not working autoboot is that the dip-switches on the controller have been changed to no autoboot. But then the robot would never autoboot.
