There are 2 batteries. One in the base of the manipulator and one beneath the computer in the control cabinet.

Don't do what I did few years ago.  I shut the controller down and the I removed the batteries.!!!!!!!!
I took a millionth of a second for my brain to compute that,   TOO LATE !!!! lol

probably does not matter in this case...they are all stone dead already.
This poor bot's been frozen thru 2 Canadian winters and then trucked around and bumped on forklift and heaven knows what else.
Hasn't booted since 2006.
