Hello, I have a small problem configuring profibus with ABB robot:
The robot is an IRB 1600 with IRC5 - M2004 controller.
In the controller-PC I have directly the Profibus connector (without using the Device-net gateway).
In the software control panel I have among the unit type: DP_SLAVE_FA, configured as an internal slave, input size 8 and output size 8.
I have created a new unit of these type giving it address 30.

When I connect the profibus master (Siemens S7-300 PLC) I can se the node 30 but I have a falut on the bus, I think due to the dimension of the data excanghed.
I normally use the same PLC configuration and the same GSD files (ABB_0600.GSD) for other ABB robot with the device-net gateway and it works, but it is the first time I have this controller with the profibus interface.

Who can help me ?

I have solved the problem.
The main point was in the GSD file.
For robot with device-net gateway the gsd file is: abb_0600.gsd
For robot with profibus on board the file is: PBUS_FA.gsd
