Hi guys,

I've been trying to change a src file into a mod file, I would like to know if there is a compiler to check for errors in the mod file.
I would also like to know what is the big diference between a mod file and a sys file.

Thank you for your attention.

If you have a lot of money you can think on using the DELMIA IGRIP or the COSIMIR software in order to do that as they can read the files in any robot format and translate them.

In order to be able to compile the ABB programs, you can always use the robotstudio software, it is not cheap, but it is worth it's cost.  if not you can also try it with the robotstudio online, you will need a robot, but you will be faster to load and to modify the program.

Regarding the difference between a sys and a mod files, the SYS ones are system modules, and can, for example be loaded at the initialization of the robot (if you must make a pstart...) the main thing is that you can have them more or less hidden from the user, but as far as I know you can have both of them working without any difference.

In our company we develop our libraries in sys module files, but it would be the same than developing them in MOd files.

Best regards.

Robotstudio software for IRC 5 is not´so expencive it is even shep. compared to S4c+ Robotstudio, I can rekomend to use  "Robotstudio software for IRC 5" even to older system like s4C+ and All ABB robots.

I'm trying to change a src file. I think I got it, but I really need a compiler for src's and mod's.
