Does the unit power up normally? You can get this error if the software is not correct or is not loaded. The TP may be fine,

I have a similar fault on an IRB4400, the lost connection display happens when the system restarts. I replaced TPU and cable and fault still present. Does it only happen when the robot attempts to move (either in auto or manual)? May be a power supply issue.....

It happen sometimes when the robot are in auto mode and the robot is moving. not all the time, the robot could be running in auto mode half a day before the fault is present and the robot stops.
Sometimes the fault go disappears by it self and other times the unit don't power up normally.
I have replaced TPU and its still the same. Then I have moved all the external equipment to an external power supply and build in relays for signal exchange to the external equipment, but its still the same.

So maybe I have a problem with the software please help

Looks like one of those problems that can come from almost anything. I have not seen this problem on a ABB robot, but I have searched a lot of simular problems on other systems. As you lose both TP and IO-cards, it looks like it is some internal bus in the cabinet that fail.

What controller do you have?

One thoght that crossed my mind is that the backplane on S4 M94 is very unsafe mounted on its swinging rack with external equipment behind it. All cables to the backplane is also crossing the hinges to the rack. It is possible that some thing on the backplane is damaged or maybe a cable to it. The newer controllers have a much more stable construction (but is not as good to reach for maintainence).
