Considering buying an ABB arm. Question for masses, especially, NE United States.

Without the warrenty package, when an arm breaks down on 2nd shift Saturday;
1) Can you call and get ahold of a technician?
2) Do they help you determine the problem? With good success?
3) Are they able to get you the right part, quickly?

Your company, how many robots do they have 5, 50, 500 or 5000 ?

I'll give you answers and not necessarily regarding ABB

1) i called in the past, let say Xmas day and I had answers from the ABB, Fanuc and Motoman within 1/2 hour. I didn't call others
2) if your arm "broke" down, there's nothing that the techguy can do for you at the phone.
    if there's a problem more fixable (software, electronics) they will do it. Just remember they might have a couple of guys only for the whole country and they could be no experts on your issue
3) What's quickly ? For a new arm, if you are lucky and they have it in USA, if not wait for the next ship from Japan or Europa
