Hello Friends:

I have a 500 line motion program with all the robtargets recorded as "*" Now the customer want to change all these targets to P1, P2, P3, P4... and so on

Is it possible to do it quickly? any short cuts?

Don't see an easy way to do it with Ultraedit.
If you run Linux then grep and/or sed would be a good place to start.
Suppose it depends on who's paying for the time, in windows you could resort to custom code in C or VB but that's going to cost someone.

ABB has a program (ShopFloorEditor) that will change wildcards to robtargets, but it costs money.
