We recently received three IRC5-panel mount controllers, and ordered the Remote SUpport option.
We got ewon VPN boxes, cables, and what appear to be O2 SIM cards.
Now what?
There are no instructions or references to go by.
Nobody seems to know anything about this.
Are these ewon boxes operational in the USA?

hello,
Do you mean the remote service box? a black box with a SIM card? if it is. you should install the box to robot controller and ask ABB guy to add the controller No. in their website.
you can see the label mark of cable plug to mounting.

Hello

You would find more information about Remote Service solution at ABB web site in www.abb.com  Select Product & Services then ABB Product Guide > Robotics > Service > Support and remote Services

http://www.abb.com/product/seitp327/023dd255fe1ad93fc12571a7002debf1.aspx

Yes the remote service solution is working worldwide including US, Pennsylvania and Georgia if you have GPRS coverage.

The remote service solution need to be enabled at ABB Service and the boxes connected to the Robot. Please contact your representative at ABB Service for indication on how to proceed
