problems irb 2400 s4 cold start

Have problems installing the boot disks, as the disk drive doesn't seem to read the floppy 1
Had also problems before reading the floppies after warm start.
Have reset the whole thing,and also changed the floppy drive, but it still doesn't seem to recognize the floppy, If I put the floppy into a pc,i can read the info, and it seems to be o.k.

Have you tried to copy the disc to a new disc?

You can ask someone here to upload the disc if the files on the disc are corrupted.

thanks for your sugguestion, does't have effect, so if some one could help me getting a new set of boot discs to try Basic 2.0, that would bevery helpfull

I have cold started a few S4's and have had this problem before. Are you using the boot disk for that specific controller? Does the serial number and other information from the controller match what is on the disk? I have cold started using boot disk from other S4's before.

Tanks for yur sugguestion, bu it seems the cpu doesn't have contact to th floppydrive at all.
