Hello everybody,

My robot had gone wrong, and foun maybe the resolver is wrong.

I have resulted in the ABB service, and ABB told me we have to change the motor and  the resolver, also the price is too expensive the change motor and resolver,a little more than 1,000 $.

So I ask for help, is it possible to just change resolver?

How much for change them is rational?

Best Regards.

Hello,

Is a good price because if you want to replace a resolver only, you need to commute and calibrate the motor and is too complicated if you do not have the knowledge and necessary tools.
Is a good price compared with  cost to have the robot stopped.

That is an excellent price,, times by 6 for a UK price.

The resolver should not be removed as it will loose the commutation .
