Help with RAP option for IRB 6400 M94a S4 controller

For S4 robot you have to purchase the option in the Baseware or get a key disk that has one.
RAP is used for PC to robot communications, what are you using the RAP option for?

I am trying to connect IRB 6400 with S4 M94a to a PC via SLIP.
Apparently the RAP is one of the better option to communicate with the controller.

I'm trying the same thing, to connect the s4 controller to the pc. I've tried many programs and I didn't found any solution.

I am also working on the same project to establish a communication link in
between ABB IRB 140T robot & PC using LAN.

Kindly tell me the problems you have faced & the ways you have solved them .

Has it worked properly while using the RAP protocol or you have used any
software like Webware SDK?

I was told by ABB Sweden to purchase this software WEBWARE(interlink) to
establish connection but there is very big diffrence in the cost given in
quotation & on internet ,
