Hi nano9600:

Give us more clues, looks like that robot was shaking a lot during transportation.

Obviously you powered up, Have yo done any kind of calibration, revolution counter updates , anything ?

Are you saying that "The wrist was disconnected from the controller.", do you mean the manipulator was disconnected ....... ?

I dont know if you have manuals but this page might help you

Hello Somar,

we had to move two robots in the another place. We disconnected the manipulator from the controller before transportation. The robots were disconnected 9 days. There was no problems with the first robot. We just updated the counters and did some corrections in the program and everything is going on, but the second one is completely inappeasable. It does not allowed to update the counters or to do the calibration. I checked the plugs, but all seems ok.  Like I understand it can be a problem with serial measurement board or with cable between controller and manipulator, but why 10014 System failure state error appears? I do not have system disks and can not reinstall the system, but I do not think that the primary error is 10014. What is your opinion about the re-installation OS?

Did you RTFM?

nano,

System failure doesn't mean that the base ware has to be reinstalled. It just means that the one error is severe enough to prohibit any further use of the robot. If you are able to repair the problem, a warm start would clear the system failure. Like you said, the problem most likely the SMB cable, or the SMB is wrecked.

Dear Wolf,

like I understand the error 38034 Transmission failure is more related to the communication between controller and manipulator, but errors 38012 Serial Offset X Error and 38013 Serial Offset Y Error indicates the failures in SMB. What is your opinion about it?

Thanks.

nano,

Is the other robot also a M98 4400? If the cables are the same, I would quick swap them around and see what happens. Else, the SMB is toast and needs to be replaced.
